つきのたみのやかた Lunarians' Hall

「よくぞ　まいられた！

"Welcome! You have done well to come!"

Cecil: And you are…?

ろうじん「わたしは　つきのたみの　ねむりを　まもる　フースーヤ‥

Old Man: I am Fusuya, who guards the sleep of the Lunarians…

ローザ「つきのたみ？

Rosa: Lunarians?

フースーヤ「さよう。　もう　はるかむかしのことだ‥　かせいと　もくせいの　あいだにあった　ほしが　ぜつめつの　ききにひんした。　いきのこったものたちは　ふねで　あおきほしへと　だっしゅつした‥

Fusuya: Indeed. It was long, long ago… Life on a planet between Mars and Jupiter stood on the brink of extinction. The survivors escaped by ship to the Blue Planet…

『あおきほし‥？

Cecil: The Blue Planet…?

フースーヤ「そなたらのすむ　だいちだ。　しかし　まだ　しんかの　とちゅうにあったため　そのものたちは　もうひとつのつきを　つくりだし　そこで　ながいねむりに　ついたのだ‥

Fusuya: The land where you live. But its people had not yet evolved far enough, so the survivors created another moon and fell into a long sleep there…

エッジ「それが‥つきのたみか。

Edge: So those are… the Lunarians.

フースーヤ「しかし　あるものは　ねむりを　きらった！　あおきほしに　そんざいするものすべてを　やきはらい　そこに　じぶんたちが　すめばよいと　かんがえた。

Fusuya: But one among them hated the sleep! He thought to burn away everything that existed on the Blue Planet so his kind could dwell there.

リディア「ひどい‥！

Rydia: That's horrible…!

フースーヤ「‥わたしは　そのものを　ふうじこめた。　しかし　ながいねむりのあいだに　そのものは　しねんを　きょうかした！　そのしねんが　そなたらのほしの　じゃあくな　ものたちを　より　あしきものとし‥　クリスタルを　あつめさせたのだ。

Fusuya: …I sealed him away. But during the long sleep, he strengthened his waves of malice! They made the wicked of your planet more wicked still… and set them gathering the Crystals.

『では　ゴルベーザも　そのものに！

Cecil: Then Golbeza was his puppet too!

エッジ「なんてヤツだ　そいつは！？

Edge: Who is this guy!?

フースーヤ「そのものは　ゼムス‥！　クリスタルとは　われわれの　エネルギーげん。　おそらく　バブイルのとうの　じげんエレベータを　さどうさせるため　クリスタルを　あつめさせた。　じげんエレベータで　バブイルのきょじんを　そなたらのほしにおろし　すべてを　やきはらおうとしている‥！

Fusuya: His name is Zemus…! The Crystals are our source of energy. Most likely he had them gathered to power the Dimensional Elevator in the Tower of Babil. With it, he means to lower the Giant of Babil onto your planet and burn everything away…!

ローザ「そんな‥

Rosa: No…

フースーヤ「しかし　おおくのつきのたみは　そうではない。　あおきほしのものたちが　われわれとたいとうに　はなしあえるだけの　しんかをとげるのを　みまもっているのだ‥　みな‥そのひをゆめみて　ねむりつづけている‥

Fusuya: But most Lunarians are not like him. We watch over the people of the Blue Planet, waiting for them to evolve enough to speak with us as equals… They all sleep on, dreaming of that day…

『ぼくらが　のってきた　まどうせんは？

Cecil: What about the magic ship we came here on?

フースーヤ「‥はるかむかしに　わたしのおとうと　クルーヤがつくり　あおきほしへ　おりていったときのものじゃ。　クルーヤは　みちの　そなたらのほしに　あこがれておった‥　デビルロードや　ひくうていのぎじゅつは　そのとき　もたらされたのだ‥　‥そしてクルーヤは　あおきほしの　むすめと　こいにおち　ふたりのこどもがうまれた‥　そのうちの　ひとりが‥　そなただ。

Fusuya: …Long ago, my younger brother Kluya built it and descended to the Blue Planet. Kluya yearned for your unknown world… It was then that the Devil's Road and the airship technology were brought there… And Kluya fell in love with a young woman of the Blue Planet, and two children were born… One of them… …is you.

『！！　ぼく‥が？　じゃあ　しれんのやまで　きこえたこえは‥

Cecil: !! Me…? Then the voice I heard on Mount Ordeals…

フースーヤ「おまえのちち‥　クルーヤの　たましいだ‥　なるほど‥わかいころのクルーヤに　よくにている‥

Fusuya: That was your father… Kluya's spirit… I see… you look much like Kluya did when he was young…

『あのこえが‥とうさん‥！

Cecil: That voice was… Father…!

フースーヤ「ゼムスの　ぼうりゃくを　くいとめるために　クルーヤは　そのちからを　そなたに　さずけたのじゃ。　ゼムスを　とめなければならない！　あおきほしと　そして　つきのたみのために！　さあ‥エブラーナの　バブイルのとうへ　いそぐのだ！

Fusuya: To foil Zemus's scheme, Kluya granted his power to you. Zemus must be stopped! For the Blue Planet, and for the Lunarians! Now… hurry to the Tower of Babil in Eblana!

エッジ「バブイルのとう！？　でもあそこは　バリアが‥！

Edge: The Tower of Babil!? But there's a barrier there…!

フースーヤ「わたしならば　はいれるはず！　バブイルのきょじんを　あおきほしに　おろしてはならぬ！　わたしも　ともにいこう‥！つきのたみ　フースーヤが　なかまになった！

Fusuya: I, at least, should be able to enter! The Giant of Babil must not be lowered onto the Blue Planet! I shall go with you…! Lunarian Fusuya joined the party!
